Shari
Shattuck is best known for her work in Television and Film where she has starred
in such varied projects as the Warner Bros. Movie "On Deadly Ground"
and the CBS daytime television series "The Young and the Restless".
A complete list of her acting credits would include several series, over twenty
films, numerous television commercials and classical and original theater
credits. Ms. Shattuck has also written for the stage. Her original play, "In
Progress" was critically acclaimed. Her first novel "Loaded"
was selected by Publisher's Weekly as one of the best of 2003. The sequel,
tentatively titled "Lethal" is scheduled for release in summer 2005.
Ms Shattuck lives in the Angeles National Forest above L.A. with long-time
love Joseph Stachura, who is the artistic director of the much celebrated
Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angeles. Together they have worked on productions
from "Cabaret" to "Macbeth." They share their home with
Shari's two spirited and beautiful daughters, Creason and Caleb, two dogs,
eight chickens, two goats, and many visitors from the forest.
In her spare time, Ms. Shattuck loves cooking (especially pasta), gardening
(except the weeding), hiking (as often as she can get it), and just being
still and quiet (an increasingly rare commodity in today's noisy world).
